Ok, so I've been slacking on posting the pictures of the challenge, but I've been taken them - I promise!!! :o)

This is what happens when you try to self portrait!!! (Excuse the mess!) This is the best light that I could get and I was trying to get the baby in the pic too. :o)

Oh, and excuse the after work hair too. LOL

October Baby!

October will be here tomorrow and in honor of October (one of the greatest months of the year, I might add), I will embark upon the 30 day photography challenge. It's only fitting that the 31st day is a picture of the kids in their Halloween costumes. To hold myself to the challenge, I'll blog the pix! :o)

Transitions

The days are going by faster and faster, before I know it, Morgyn will be 1!

I am truly enjoying the moments with both kids because they are growing up so fast!

In between the last post and this one, as a family, we ventured to Atlanta. We (I) had a good time at the Aquarium and World of Coke and with each other. :o)


I really had a good time! LOL

I also decided that instead of creating a New Year Resolution, I'm going to do New Month Resolutions. This month's resolution is that I'm going to finish things that I've started. I have a few projects that I've started and not finished, but biggest of all, Xzavier's scrapbook. I have made significant strides, but I have to report that I have not completed it yet. But in my defense, I have been looking for pictures of him eating his first birthday cake and pictures of us during his baby shower, but those pictures are MIA. I'm going to move forward without those pictures for now, but hopefully they will turn up. Then, I need to start on Morgyn's book...




Xzavier is beginning his transition into kindergarten. I'm still trying to accept that fact that he is 5 and will be in REAL school next year. My big boy is growing up...
















Morgyn... She is something else!!!  She is a very observant and advanced little girl. She has been crawling for a little while, but she is beginning to transition into walking. Her big brother was walking at 9 months and she just turned 9 months last week. I'm not ready for what could potentially transpire in the next 4 weeks... :o) All and all, she is a happy baby and doing exactly what she should be doing at this age. She is no longer fighting me on eating solid food - so we're over that hump! She also greets you. She says "hi" and waves. She says "bye" too. I'm trying to capture it on video, but when I try to get her saying it, I'm too late. I need to be quicker on the draw. :o)


Summer time will be here in a month. Hopefully, Xzavier and Morgyn will be great swimmers by the end of the summer (on my "To Do" list. I'll keep you posted... :o)

It's (another Manic) Monday...

Today, I woke up late (big surprise) and we missed the car line (what's new?). As I pull up to XJ's school, he says, "looks like we missed the car line again." He's so funny! I have to cherish these moments because before I know it, he'll be back talking and getting smart with me.

MJ, on the other hand, woke up and was her usual self - trying to jump off of the changing table as I am trying to change her full of pee diaper. She is full of smiles UNTIL it's time for her morning feeding! lol Once she has her morning bottle, she's all smiles again. She was actually pleasant during the ride to school and to daycare.

Gotta love these two!!!

Scrapbook update

Oh and I'm almost done with Xzavier's scrapbook! I have to finish November, January, and February/1st birthday and then I'll be done!!!

...then I have to start on years 2, 3, and 4...AND Morgyn's scrapbook... I'm going to have a busy life ahead of me... lol #FunTimes
